If we buy land, membership rises to $20/month. If we never do, we intend to give what is left to aligned causes working on statelessness. Both are intentions. Neither is a promise.
Most probable outcomes: it never happens, the cost estimates are wrong, or I lose most of my net worth. The possibility of solving a real problem is worth the moonshot.

This is one person's expectation about his own future finances. It is not a commitment, not audited, and not money that exists today.

Universal basic abundance
Housing designs, drawn to be built. Each one is labeled for what it actually is. Nothing here is shown as buildable until somebody has costed it and an engineer has signed it.
All three designs are CONCEPT, not BUILDABLE.
The spec asks for designs that are one hundred percent real and buildable. These are drawings: no structural engineering, no bill of materials, no costing, no permit pathway. Until that work exists they are labeled CONCEPT, and no cost per house appears anywhere on this site.
Mound-on-a-hill village
The base design. Domed dwellings on a raised crest, rain caught off the domes, one shared cistern under the village. No tunnels: nothing below ground connects between mounds.
Bangladesh variant
Rainwater is the resource and flooding is the constraint. The plinth lifts the floor above a marked flood line; the dome is steepened to shed monsoon rain into a perimeter gutter.
Tunisia variant
Heat is the constraint and shade is the resource. A canopy stands clear of the dome so hot air escapes between them; a wind scoop drives air across a shaded court.
Drawings are schematic sections, not construction documents. The figure in each drawing is 1.7 m for scale. The next public design beyond these three is open decision 9.

The map
Being stateless, being a refugee and being displaced are three different things. This map keeps them apart, and never adds them together.
UNHCR reports a count and says plainly that the true number is higher, because most countries do not report. It does not publish an upper bound we could verify, so this toggle shows the shape of the undercount and no second number.
No basemap. No public-domain country outline could be obtained at build time, so the map
draws a true graticule and real coordinates with no land. Coastlines were not drawn from
memory — that would be an unsourced claim. Drop a Natural Earth GeoJSON at
data/basemap.geojson and it renders automatically.

Finances
The trust layer. If the ledger cannot be reached, this section says so and shows nothing rather than showing you a number that might be stale.
Team compensation
Aggregated only, never by name.
Compensation is published as one figure per quarter. No individual names and no individual amounts, ever. Nothing has been paid yet.

The 2042 frame
Today's crises — Venezuela, Lebanon, Syria, South Sudan, the Rohingya, the Uyghurs — have a hundred organizations between them. The 2042 one has none. Nyn is building the infrastructure for the next one.
Staying and fighting may be better for some, and a mechanism like this may encourage more displacement. That may be the case. That is not the problem Nyn is trying to solve.

Unrooted Beta
Unrooted is the co-design layer. You build on candidate sites with a prompt, on real terrain Nyn might actually buy, and the builds people vote up become proposals the project has to answer for. Fun is the mechanism; the mission rides on the fun.
The game is not live. Membership includes access when it opens.

Every build is on a candidate site — a place we might actually buy. An open world would be more fun. Candidate-sites-only keeps every build honest.

Beta ends when the cost estimates are close to reality — cost per square meter, cost per site — and continues at least until Nyn owns land and a country says yes.
